Minas Tirith Project || Part 2

#481

@ Admiral Ra: I still can’t open the file. The size also seems too small for a 3d file… Could you maybe try to export to .3ds? Or try posting/mailing it without zipping it.

@Moogoo: Nice WIP! It think that the arcs should be a little smoother.
Keep em coming

#482

Very odd indeed. Let’s hope this works. In .obj and .3ds format, this time i exported it out from Cinema 4D, rather than Wings.

3rf05_OBJ

@Pjanssen. been a long while I hadn’t posted anything but it it is still as great as the last time.
I just got the extended version of The Return of the king and took a mass op screenshots for my little projects but I also got a lot of minas thirith. If you like I can send them to you

greets and good luck

#484

hey pjanssen can you draw on the picture what you want the curves to look like? It would help me better understand what you’d like.

#485

Finally finished 1-lf-16. Sorry for the delays.

Let me know if you need anything more done with it. And as I said before, I’ll be happy to redo a lot of it if I can find better reference shots.

#486

Too bad no more can join, but if someday you need one more modeler, well i’m on it !

#491

:bounce: please someone assign me a duty…

ohhhh…ahh…and…please i know this sounds noobie…but how can i poste pictures (to show u my projects)

#492

Grrr, there’s a “manage attachments” button when you’re posting that lets you upload an image file. Or alternatively, you can use the [ img] tag to show images you’re hosting elsewhere.

#493

thx for replying Vormav…but…i don’t have such a button…or i’m blind……i think i need a map:)

#494

anyway…can someone give me a task…
oh and i forgot to say but this progect is doing very well…and i whant to make part of it…

#495

I think you could use the “attachment” function just only if jou posted minimal 50 posts. but if you will I can host the pics for you, mail them to kjwjansen@hotmail.com, and I give you a link that you can show them here.
just let me here or see:thumbsup:

#496

hey thx for the help…i think i will use it
but there must be an esier way…no?i feel such an idiot…
help still not requestet…

#497

Posting Images is always a pain it seems, you usually have to find another site that will let you upload them too and then remotely link them. Alot will let you upload but not remotely link or they will let you do both but will only give you limited bandwidth.

The best site I have found that seems to work well, allows remote linking, and gives a decent amount of bandwidth is photobucket. You have to sign up for an account but it is free. After you upload an image, they already have it set up so that you can copy and paste the link right into you post, html tags and all, check it out at:

@All : Happy New Year :slight_smile:

@Admiral Ra: Ok the file works now. Just give a call when you want to come back to the project again.

@m0og0o: I’ll draw the picture tomorrow. :slight_smile:

@The_Wicked_Caveman: I’ve got the EE too, so I have acces to the material. But maybe it would be useful for others on this project who don’t have the EE?

@-Vormav- : It looks cool  You can send a .3ds or .max to Pier.Janssen@Endless-dimensions.com

@Zon Wernor: Actually, we are accepting new members again, because a lot of others who joined just went away. Could you show me some of your work you did recently?

@Grrrrrr: Same story as for zon above here  Please show some of your work.

@Otacon: Same story as for zon above here  Please show some of your work.

@Halfling85: A very, very nice WIP! Keep it up. Can I ask you to make it just a bit higher? I would integrate with the rest a bit better then I think.

To host images you can also use ImageShack

oh and here’s a finished building from me again. Another one from the Hallows, Ha-12 this time. I hope that you guys like it
