you need to select your mila glossy node directly. Extra Attributes -> Quality. But be careful. This slider doesn’t control your samples as in mia, but your quality.
Anyway, there is a reason why it’s hidden. Mila and Unified Sampler were designed with simplicity in mind. One shouldn’t modify local samples. Just increase your unified sampler quality until your rendering looks good. Unified sampler “knows” where more samples are needed. The more complex your scene, the better it will work. Of course there will be no benefit in a sphere on a plane scenario.
