Merging Layers from one scene to another. question

Im trying to merge layers from one scene to another in lightwave 10.1. I tried the File _ Load Object into Layer… That brought in the layers but merged them together as on layer. I would like to keep the layers separated as were in the origonal .lwo.

I don’t get what you’re trying to do here. Bringing the object from LayOut into Modeler the object should come in AS layers. In fact, if your object already IS in layers, just loading the object into Modeler will bring in the layers.
