Mentalray Rendering Problems

I’m following the tutorial found at http://imakeu.com/Tutorials/Vue/

I’m even using that vue file. I open it in Vue 7, render it, and its beautiful. Then i open in 3ds MAX 2009 through Vue 7 xStream, and I can see it and everything, but when I render, its just a black screen.

Any ideas on this? On how to fix it and render properly?

Default max renderer ? mental ray?

Usually, I use Vray, but when I went to render with Vue in my scene, I switch it over to Mentalray.
