Measuring 3D volume

I am searching for a way to accurately measure the volume or space of a 3D model. I have investigated Lightwave; my native package, and checked out Real Flow, but did not find any technique or feature . So, I was just wondering if anyone had heard of such software, plugin, or mathematical technique to calculate the volume of a 3D container.

if you have 3ds max go to utilities then measure. and it will give you a number for volume. change your units to us standard or metrics if you want a real world amount. hope this helped.

That does help. I also found a plugin call areavol.p for LW. Its on Flay.com.
