SliB Browser is quite buggy with Maya 2017.
After opening SliB, Maya cannot open rendersettings any more. I’ve to restart Maya.

I purchased and downloaded - at $30 I thought it worth taking a punt.
A few things however:
Are there any help docs?
Says it supports Redshift AOV how can I view a shadow AOV I setup?
Can you render the test resolution at say 0.25 I don’t want to change my render settings for testing?
Im not confident the plugin is working correctly - maya 2017, redshift 2.0.89,

Error: TypeError: file C:/Program Files/Autodesk/Maya2017/bin/plug-ins/SLiB//pyt/SLiB_VPR.py line 73: ‘NoneType’ object has no attribute ‘getitem

Warning: Legacy render layer ‘VPR_ISO’ is not part of the render setup

// Warning: Python callback failed //

Error: RuntimeError: file C:/Program Files/Autodesk/Maya2017/bin/plug-ins/SLiB//pyt/SLiB_VPR.py line 72: modelPanel: Object ‘renderView’ not found.

I’m also losing my renderview menu items.

any help would appreciated

dear glasseyevfx, dear pixelboxx,
please make sure to download the latest version 2.21 - this will ensure maya 2017 compatibility.

In order to see aovs you have to enable them in your render settings. Then do a “real” render (otherwise redshift won’t generate aovs) by RMB clicking the refresh icon and from context menu choose - “Render”.
After rendering is finished you can select aovs from the dropdown menu…

About the render layer error:
Please take a look at the product page:https://store.cgfront.com/slib-plug-ins/25-slib-vpr-maya.html

“Maya 2016.5 / 2017 Users:
In order to use Global Debug Shading you must first switch Maya to the Legacy Render Layers system. To do this, open the Preferences window, navigate to the Rendering category, then select Legacy Render Layers as the Preferred Render Setup system and restart Maya.”

best
Daniel
