Hey Everyone,
Quick question, is there a good way to set up a rig where models can easily and quickly
be swapped/replaced? The rig is for animation of movement of simple solid objects (think space ships).
This will go from Maya to Unity.
I am on a very tight deadline and will do the previz first and then wish to replace the
rough models used in the previz with the new final models. In the old days, i’d just animate
groups and throw them into the right folder and they would animate the same. But
this is legacy and probably not very solid for Unity anymore. I could skin the rough model and
then animate it and then skin the new model but not sure if this might bring problems down the
line.
Any thoughts/advice? Would super appreciate it!
