Hi guys, new guy here. Im doing a test on nParticles here. As you can see on this YouTube video, the tris became progressively bigger towards the end of the clip. How do I maintain the fine and small tris throught the entire simulation? Also, does anyone have a suggestion on how do I make it feel more watery? Right now it looks like a thick broth.
Maya nParticles help
Nevermind the question guys. Found the solution myself.
For those who want to know, I set keyframe on the Max Triangle Resolution in the Output Mesh to increase the value as the clip progress.
although that solution may work it is NOT the root of your problem.
This has been discussed before but NParticle mesh is derived in a bounding box, so a big cube, when one or more of your nParticles fly off into space or fall forever the bounding of the geometry goes with it and causes this kind of resolution dropout.
make sure your nParticles are fully contained and you’ll get better results.
SOup has a node called peak that does wonders for IsoMesh check it out

Hi
I’m having problems with my nparticles animation. Basically, i have an orb object that has a liquid in it. I’m animating the orb object by moving it on the y-axis but then particle that is inside the object keeps moving in a different position in the scene.
