Hi people-
I have a nParticle system, and I’ve instanced several meshes to the particles.
Now i want to convert the instanced particles back to meshes with their xforms baked in. After searching this forum and pulling out hair (because apparently there is no way to do this in vanilla Maya!), it appears that there was a plug-in written called UnInstancer which does just this. However, of course, I have been unable to install this plug-in on Maya 2013 on Windows 7, and the gent who made it doesn’t support it anymore.
Anyone have any ideas about how to pull this off?
