Maya Export Slooowww

Hi there,
Is there a problem with the Maya exporter?..It runs ultra slow for me ( I am used to Deep Exploration ). I have 10 layers, vertex color map, some selections sets, around 35000 polys no subdiv----> More than 1 hour…30Mo ascii file.
Feedback welcome.

…Maybe in 1 or 2 hours Maya will finally open the file…
Well go back to deep…
