Maya - Baking/mesh error?

I wouldn’t consider myself a 3D expert, but I was hoping one you fine people could help me figure this out.
Essentially, Im supplied with 2 human meshes, male and female. I’ve primarily been using the female for a while to bake out my textures. I decided to open the male to make some male clothing textures… only, as you can see with the image below, there’s weird “artifacting” going on at the back, neck, and hands. I averaged and softened normals on the mesh, Im not sure what else I can do to fix it :\ The scene/lighting and shader attributes are all the same, even the bumpmap is virtually similar.
