Maya 2018 - Viewport black lines when looking from far, why? (image attached)

Hi, im creatind an scene in real measures, meaning real cms and metters, each object is super large because each unit equals 1cm

The problem i have with Maya 2018´s viewport is that while in persp camera when i start to go far (since my scene is already big) there is a point when dark lines start to appear in every object, i know this is not a real problem since my renders look ok, but from viewport perspective its kind of awefull to be looking at this horrible nasty dark lines whenever i go far with camera.

It has to be a configuration problem in viewport 2.0, how to solve it?

turn up the clipping plane in the camera…

near clipping to 5
far clipping to 100000

A more detailed explanation of the issue is that it’s a floating point rounding error. GPUs are not the most accurate and so by adjusting the clipping planes you can reduce the artifacts. When working on big scenes at the studio I work for, the cameras build in with a near clipping plane of 10. Though if you do that you won’t see objects if they are right up in the camera (or they will be clipped).
