Maya 2018 crashing all the time - unknown nodes

Whenever i start animating with Maya 2018, it crashes, sending this message: file contains unknown nodes or data

Then it just crashes… i even deleated all unused nodes in the hypershade and it still crashes, it happens a lot so i have to set key then save, set key, save…LOL to avoid loosing my work

Just another bug report… animating with Maya 2018 it´s been an almost imposible task

Thanks, but first of all i can´do that, and second it´s a 250 megabytes scene… i won´t be able to upload it either.

Reduce the scene and save under a different name, reopen and see if the crashes still happen…then upload the reduced file.

type the following in the script editor:

print ls -typ "unknown";

check that there’s nothing important there, then:

delete ls -l -typ "unknown";

that will at least determine if the unknown nodes as the cause of the crashes.
