Maya 2017 Expressions

Hello,

I’m unable to type expression via channel box E.G. “= sin(time);”

Has this been disabled in 2017?

Any input is appreciated,

yes indeed, but I don’t wanna have to go to EE to do some quick animations

I just tried it in the AttributeEditor, works fine, an expression is created on the fly. How do you try to create it?

You wrote “via out liner”. Did you mean “channel box”? If so, I don’t think you can do that anymore (actually I dont remember being able to do it via the entry fields even in earlier versions, but I think there was a drop down menu… maybe… not there in 2017 though).

But it still works in the entry fields of the attribute editor.
