How can I use displacement map in Maya 2016 using V-Ray ?
I tried to drop a displacement node above the shader but gives me another menu which is different from the previous versions of maya .

I tried to drop a displacement node above the shader but gives me another menu which is different from the previous versions of maya .
select the object and assign a vray displacement attribute…
create --> vray --> displacement
and on the dispnode create the needed extra atributes like subD
is the displacement baked…?
or just a texture…?
if its baked you could use the .vrmesh exporter from mudbox…
in this case you wont need a dispmap…
