Maya 2016 render passes including AO pass not named

Hi all

A really boring question here. It seems that by default my mental ray batch renders are split into separate beauty, render passes and AO files. The beauty file gets named (Beauty.exr). The render passes and AO pass are saved as blank .exr and .png files respectively. How do I add a name to these files for batch rendering in Maya 2016? This is a headache in NUKE as all files must be named to be read into the program. In previous Maya versions the beauty pass and render passes were written to a single .exr file. I would like my passes to share the name of the beauty file eg. RenderCam1 with a suffix like “_passes” or _AO.

Sorry if this was covered already but I can’t find anything about it.

I should add that the framebuffer naming dropdown box is greyed out in render settings > common tab. Even when openEXR is chosen as file type.

How do I set up my renders to output one .exr file containing all my passes and my beauty in Maya 2016?
