I’m trying to render a sequence with Fianl Gather on and secondary bounces set to 3. When I turn on irradiance and set its map to rebuild and do a batch render, the secondary bounces only appear on the first frame. Anyone else seen this behaviour? If I don’t rebuild the irradiance map, I get secondary bounces on all frames but it introduces a new problem. Irradiance builds slightly ove r the course of the animation. When I put the animation on the farm in “chunks” you can see this discrepancy as a dip in irradiance at the beginning of each chunk. Any help appreciated.
