Maya 2013 --> Unity 3.5 export problem

hi,

I have big problems with the export of my Maya character to unity. first of all my character does not look like it does in maya and the worst problem is, that animations dont work. I tried it with an older version and it works, but this one doesnt. I uploaded the file and hope someone helps me with it. Maybe you can look at my model and figure out the problem.
I export it as fbx2010 and with media and animations selected.

1st post?.. welcome. Use .fbx and make sure you set the output settings for joint, animation…etc

hey, thanks, but i told you I did set all the options.
Maybe you can look at my file and export is as fbx and try out a simple animation. maybe you will see the problem after that?

Hey, sorry but my unity needs to be updated. But from what I remember, I exported the file with animation to Unity, set the bone number of influences and checked the animation by turning on loop? I think? Also, there is a way to retarget the bones for ragdoll.
I’ll see if I can load up the free version and try it out.
