Maya 2012 FBIK + facial rig

Hi all,

I am planning rig my characters with Maya’s skeleton tool. I need few answers from you pros…

My main dark point is facials; can I attach facial bones to Maya’s skeleton ? ex: jaw, eye bones? if yes ; which way should I follow ? parent additional bones to Maya’s skeleton or seperate head? I will have tons of blend shapes on head too…
