Hi, I have a weird problem with maxwell… Whenever I send a render, it renders only 8bpc bit depth files. If I change the settings in 3ds max, when I send the render I have a error window that says:
Warning: Invalid bit depth will be adjusted automatically (in method setPath)
I can change the bit depth directly in the maxwell window, but it doesn´t work if I send a sequence.
Any idea how to fix this and get maxwell 2.0 to render 16 or 32 bits files ? I´m using 3ds max 2010 64 bits and maxwell render 2,0 64 bits.

Maxwell render only renders 8bpc depth

at first you must set render out in render setup dialog box : select TIFF file format and in “TIF image control” choose 32 bit image type.
Then in General settings of Maxwell Render you can select 32 bit depth.
