Recently I’ve been struggling with getting Maxwell to Display a background image while using HDRI’s. I’ve followed the audioless video Tutorials on Th!nk.maxwell and have gotten The reflections to come out reasonably well but the Illumination is washed out and the background is perpetually dark. When I try to bump the intensity on the image it just gets washed out as well.
I’m doing this as an animation so Photoshoping a background is not really an option. The illumination Intensity is set to 75 with the camera’s shutter speed at 350. I think this has something to do with the washed out look as most tutorials I see are just doing an intensity of 10.
if anyone could guide me to a good tutorial on Max and Maxwell that would be great or If i should just quit maxwell and do HDRI in Mental ray
