Yeah, I jumped on the bandwagon and created my own rendition of the Fringe logo animation some scripting and about 5 PFlow systems. There is also a little FumeFX in there. I wanted to do this for a tutorial to actually get something out there besides the horrible quality ones. It isnt an exact match but for something I will never use again this is as far as I am taking it.

Oh, I knew Andrew did that, what I meant is is J. J. Abrams saw that, and because the font is so closely matched, the style, the hand prints, and all of that I wasn’t sure about copyrights. I am a really active member on Andrews forum, and most of my tutorials are watched by the VC crowd, but it is excellent work (his I mean) and the clean, crisp style is right up my alley.
Although I am not a fan of all of Kramers stuff, this is some really, really great work.
I gotcha 
as long as your not turning a profit off his work, I doubt you’ll get sued. Some would take it as a compliment that you thought their work was good enough to be repro’d
