This happens to at least 10-12 frames throughout an animation. I’m using Max9 Mental Ray to render. On some of the frames, I would get black buckets that don’t render the Vue Trees. I’m wondering why I would get these artifacts. Anyone run into similar errors?
Also when I render with a medium Final Gather sample setting with mental ray, frames 1-70 would render super quick (< 1 min/frame) then frame 71 would just freeze up trying to calculate FG. I would then cancel the render and skip to frame 72. Frames 72-140 would render super quick again(< 1min/frame) and then freeze up again on frame 141. I have to babysit the machine all night to complete an animation…
