am working on a film project which I am taking very “slow”. I am currently developing the script/screenplay. I need your help in developing the script guys. Here is the idea:
“MAUI ALIEN CITY:
John, a 16 years old boy is trying to save his grandmother. Who he believe has been abducted by aliens. Its 2008, no-one believes in aliens. One night John encounters some alien signal via satellite tv which he was using for his school science project . John enlists his friend to encode the signal using clever programming. He attempts to convince his Airforce dad that the aliens have a city here somewhere on earth. But his father does not believe what he says and blushes him off. John further believes the people being reported being missing in LA and Hawaii must be abducted to this city. The encoded message further states the aliens will vaporize the world after turning the selected people into aliens. More signal encoding seems to pinpoint to unknown GPS coordinates in the Pacific, which John believe could be the location of the unknown city. John and his friend plan to steal their father’s clearance passes to fly the test JSF X-35 fighter jets. But they are only licensed to fly simulators on their PCs”! The story is about aliens invasion, bravery, risks, war and rescue mission.
I need comments, critics, input whatever I will handle it - just throw at me. For example I need a scene explanation, action, character and dialog suggestions for certain scene. You can choose to create any scene. Here are the key characters:
island, city (btwn the island), aliens, alien’s fun/missle shooter robot, navy battleships, Apache helis, missles, X-35 fighterjets (used by the boys), alien space fighter, containership in the sea, mines in the sea, alien spy robots.
Here is an example of one of the contributor: Alien Robot, nicknamed “Robo”: is a very common alien spy robot that is programmed to sense unknown visitors. The aliens created the robot to help them in the city. The Robos are programmed to attack or report non-alien (i.e. humans). “…as John and his friend pass through one of the alleys in the city they run into a Robo. The robot start attacking and chasing them (making some screeching noise). John and his friend run for the dear life. Fortunately, it falls over a ledge and breaks. John talks about it and then develop a great idea to try to fix it and reprogram it to help them…” contributed by S.H. SCAD.
