Matte Shadow won't work on glass

Hi,

So I’m quite new with vray and just finished my first scene.

It’s a loft with big windows with a vue on skyscrapers. Now in order to put a pic in the back in Photoshop I made a huge plane infront of windows and place a VrayMtlWrapper material on it.

I save in .png format. It works if the windows aren’t there but with the glass material on the windoes the VrayMtlWrapper doesn’t seem to work, it just stays black

Seems like matte shadow isn’t working through glass.

Any help is appreciated

after couple of hours

found out that in the glass material i need to check in refraction “Effect Alpha”
