Is there a way to marquee a group like I Marquee Select layers (ctrl-click layer pc apple click layer mac)?
Previously I have had to turn the group into a smart object and then select it, then crop, save, and then undo.
EDIT: programmers hate smart objects so I have to avoid those.
i don’t think so but i usually ctrl + shift + click on the individual layers in the group to make a selection of all content
