mari soft brush problem

hi, my Mari brush paints with dirty dark edges. Is this a bug or are my settings fudged?

Are all brushes doing this or just this one?

If it isn’t, it’s probably best to just avoid that sucker. Mari’s a rocket launcher: powerful but not exactly easy to know everything about just by picking it up.

Maybe try a new scene (or object, whatever Mari insists it is) and see if it’s the same on a default object.
