Manual install of Nvidia Normal Map plugin in CS4 (64)

Hi, does anybody know how to hand install the Nvidia normal map plugin?

I copied the NormalMapFilter.8bf over but CS4 (64 bit) is not showing it in its Filter menu.

Does the plugin need to be 64 bit?
