Making money off work

Hi, I’m still in school, but is there any way I can make some extra money on the side with what I do? For example, Flash Animation? Or make a 3D model for someone?

I remember way back when I was in my second semester. I was in intro 3D modeling. My teacher talked to some contractors and they gave me and 2 other students $600 each for when we start, and $600 when we finish. They wanted us to make 3D representations of these condo rooms they were building. They gave us the blueprints. I worked with the textures and made the furniture.

Later our teacher made them into a presentation DVD. But we made money off of it(dispite the condos not being built probably cuz our economy).

One way is brokering models you make through somewhere like turbosquid or daz3d. If you get a popular model you can make a couple of thousand monthly and unlike taking contracts you can work at your own pace and fit it in with school.
