Hi everyone,
I am trying to make a water pump burst from too much pressure. In the animation there is a guy pumping the water, but the exit pipe is blocked by a cork and water starts gushing out in between the cork and the pipe. I have particles driving a fluid to do this effect and I have two problems.
One, even though I have set the threshold of the collision objects for the particles and the fluids to what seems to be very high, they still penetrate the collision objects.

and two, when I try to render the fluid is either completely opaque when the transparency is set to block, or completely transparent when it is anything but black.
