Lux forum open + new Modo download option

Brad Peebler made this announcement on page 4 of the thread titled ‘Rendering’, but I thought it was worth bringing it to the fore with a thread of its own.

1. New discussion forum has just opened on Luxology’s website

2. Modo now available as a download-only option for those who don’t want to pay for couriers and the associated costs (such as importation costs).

As I indicated earlier in this thread, we will be providing additional information to registered modo users via our website. This will come in the form of videos as well as text. We are also communicating directly with people here as well as on our forums at

I hope that it is clear that we listen to users and are on a constant quest to improve our product and business to better serve everyone. To that end, some time ago it was requested that we sell a download only version of modo on our website so that people can avoid VAT and shipping, well I am happy to announce that it is now possible to order modo as a download only version.
