Hey all, Im trying to use luminance depth to create a DOF render layer, but it wont fall off at all. All the objects from 0-110 are completely white, and objects farther than that are just barely not white. Is there a way to make it falloff from white to grey/blackish for the entire distance? I’m also having trouble getting a centered depth of field, the luminance depth only seems to make things in focus up close, or all the way at the distance, but not in the center. Thanks!
Luminance Depth, can't get a falloff
Is there a reason you’re using Luminance Depth instead of camera depth? A standard z-depth pass would be based on camera depth, not lighting. This could account for your inaccuracies in post.
