Noob question: Hi guys, so I normally build my low poly meshes in 3ds max and unwrap them there, but I was wondering if after I start sculpting them in Zbrush and decide that i need to make a change to the base mesh whether that would mess everything up as far as my UVW’s? Would I essentially have to make my changes in 3ds max and do the unwrap again and then move it back into Zbrush and start sculpting from scratch?

If you make changes to your base mesh, I would reimport the new base mesh into the lowest subDivision. That should keep the UVs regardless. After you do that, Zbrush should recalculate and re-project all your details back up. Unless you make drastic changes as to the sillouette changing, that may cause some issues.
or if anything. You can import your new model then reproject details back on from the old model.
