Looking for a 3D Character and Hard Surface Artist [CONTRACT - REMOTE] to work on a SciFi game

We’re a small team based in Scotland. We’re currently working on a Sci-Fi Game for console and PC

We’re looking for an experienced Hard Surface & character artist to join our team (Remotely) on a contract basis. With emphasis on modeling sci-fi stylised space ships, weapons, robots and bio-mechanical units for games.

Role requirements:

  • Strong hard surface modeling skills.

  • Experience in both high & low poly 3D modeling. Must have very good re-topology skills for in-game use.

  • Skilled in texturing as well as strong knowledge for UV unwrapping.

  • Can create 3D assets and textures in line with the project’s artistic and technical direction.

  • Should have a good eye for silhouettes, form and an attention to details.

  • Must be able to work with rough concept art and add details on the go as needed in 3D. Other times, to quickly concept sculpt a given idea for a character.

  • UE4 experience and shading is a plus.

  • Good English communication skills.

  • Team player, responds to and implements changes according to feedback and direction.
