looking for 2D artis for a quest game

Greetings people!

My team is looking for a talented 2D artist to draw a background images in the style of Space Quest games or Full Throttle or The Dig.

We are making an adventure game (better call it a quest game) based on the Crusader Universe. The work is going smooth and nicely, although we are in a great need of good 2D artist.

The artist will be provided with a sketch of the room he/she needs to draw, so no need for concept drawing.

The game is featuring 320x240 game resolution (i knwo i know… but that’s the classic feel and we aim for classics), and we are using Game Adventure Studio as our game engine.

Maybe that’s not what you expected to see, but we are fans of old style adventures. Also there is a huge community of people like we are. And plenty of similar games - http://www.bigbluecup.com/games.php?category=102

I’ve forgot to notice that this is a fan-made project and it’s obsolutely free. We will offer this game as a freeware, when it’s done and thus we do not pay anything to the involved people. It’s completely based on our enthysiasm.

I think your idea is great. Those oldschool games rule, like the quest games and monkey island.

I myself also made a clicky with the AGS engine. :slight_smile: I also tried to get that classic feel.

Why didn’t i see that game on AGS’ games list? You defenetly should publish it there. I’m sure the community will appreciate the work you did.

thanks a lot. I love clickies and when i saw AGS engine, i just had to make one too.

I wanted to post it at AGS forums but i got link error there a couple a times, and then sorta forgot about it. But I will put it there now.
