Linking Lights inside pflow?

#1

Can we Link object,lights or anything else to a particle? Or is there a way to face instance a light or a effects like a glow or streaks? I was trying to link a Lens flare to a Shape instanced object but that doesnt work nor can I link a lights inside pflow.

Is Pflow limited to to what come with max and need to use plugins or I am missing something?

I wonder why you can’t do it with instances…

MY skills of scripting is to limited to follow this. I need to rewrite the tutorial to fit my scene. I guess plugins are the other way to go for me. Even so I dont think I will be able to keep my setup that is allready good to go =/

All you have to do is to remove

My_Athmospheric_Gizmos_01[i].radius = 10 + pCont.ParticleAge*2

as lights don’thave a radius and to change

  global My_Athmospheric_Gizmos_01 = $SphereGizmo*

$SphereGizmo* selects all objects that are named SphereGizmo01, SphereGizmo02, SphereGizmo03, SphereGizmo… and so on.

So if you change it into $omni* all your light with the term ‘omni’ in the name will get selected.
Everything is well explained in that tutorial though.

Thats great… But it refers to Sphere and atmospheric gizmo like 20 times in that script…
