I’m having a problem animating a camera linked to a sphere in Vue 7 Xstream stand alone. I have my main camera linked to a sphere to create a turntable effect but when ever I select the sphere, lay down a keyframe, move my time slider to the time desired, lay down another keyframe and then orient the sphere the camera does not follow like it should. (it’s like my link breaks when I try to animate it, it remains linked to the camera and works when there is no keyframes layed down) Am I doing something incorrect? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Linking camera to sphere animation
Well I have figured out my first problem but have run into another. I am currently attempting to render my animation which is only 8 seconds long, I try to render using the internal renderer but after the first frame renders an error comes up saying “Error writing animation frame. Please make sure you have sufficient disk space for the animation, and that the file is not open in another application.” Which it is not and I should have more then plenty of disk space for a 8 second animation. I am trying to batch render it but am unfimiliar with vues batch render process. I get to the point where you’re in the batch rendering list of jobs but the status just stays on “Scheduled”. Not sure how you start the batch render. If anyone can help or point me in the right direction, maybe a vue animation rendering tutorial would be awsome.
