Lightwave 10.1 Screamernet setup: Need Help

Hello everyone,
I updated lightwave 9.6 to 10.1. Now i have two folders in c:\Newtech, one is lightwave 9.6 and other is lightwave 10.1. Have setup my scenes and its ready for rendering.

Followed MattGorner_ScreamerNet_Tutorial
Using three z800 workstations. one master/host computer and two nodes. I have setup ScreamerNet/Everything fine.
I copied lightwave 10.1 plugins on a shared locaiton in current content directory. so render nodes can find the plugins.
But I copied lightwave 9.6 > programs folder to setup my render nodes. as I couldn’t find programs folder in lightwave 10.1 folder.

Now on host computer: In command line window i see error loading plugins and my images. even it can’t load jpg files. it says unsupported format or something… my render nodes also have same issue.
my host renders the flx file and save it on the network save location but render nodes don’t save flx file on the network save location.

I need your suggestions/help and tips/tricks to overcome the issues.

If you ever have issues with not being able to load / save image files, it definitely means it can’t find the plugins.

Double check the path to those and ensure the folder is being shared so all render nodes can see it.

The programs folder for 10.1 is ‘bin’ and plugins and other needed files are in ‘support’.

Both in the 10.1 main install folder.

you are right about the plugins paths. I fixed the issue. It took some time to understand it but my sreamernet is working fine with 10 nodes now. Thanks!
