Lighting Technical Director

ü Job Detail:-

  1.  A demonstration portfolio showing a strong sense of composition, light, shadow and color is required- must be able to exhibit a variety of lighting conditions of primary and secondary characters.

  2.  The Lighting Technical Director must have a professional demo reel that illustrates core understanding of illuminating 3D assets.

  3.  He/She must be able to work closely with the Lead Lighting TD, and compositors to finish selected shots so that computer generated  elements are seamlessly integrated with live-action plates.

  4.  Employee must be able to work closely with the Lead Lighting TD, and compositors.

  5.  Compositing such as multi-pass rendering for composite-based control. 

  6.  Good knowledge of high-end rendering software such as PRMAN, Mental Ray, etc. 

  7.  Ability to work independently in PRMAN and develop shaders to enhance the look of CG assets.

ü Additional Requirements:-[font=Arial][/font]

  1.  Desire to learn from others and to take on increasingly challenging shots 

  2.  Delivering final shots that are creatively and technically excellent.

  3. This position requires such traditional skills as a strong artistic eye for cinematography, composition, photography and high-resolution detail, as well as a good understanding of the principles of digital film.

  4. Candidate must be able to work closely with the Lead Lighting TD, and compositors to finish selected shots so that computer generated elements are seamlessly integrated with live-action plates.

  5. Perform any and all tasks as directed by the Lead Lighting TD.
