Lighting Difficulties

#1

Hi Guys,

Sorry to disturb you with this I know you’ve probably got better things to do with your time. I’m having a bit of trouble with my animations. Almost every time I make an animation I get called out on my lighting.

I have tried the basic default lighting that Poser do and that didn’t work. So then I tried three-point lighting and that didn’t work. I’m not very good at lighting in general.

Does anyone have and advice?

Here is some of my work: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TNOwqXrVlhk

Many thanks for this. I know you probably have better things to do with your time. I really appreciate you helping me.

First thing first, where are your shadows?

My thoughts exactly

In seriousness - I don’t really know what options Poser gives you lighting-wise, but considering the number of exterior shots you have, the quickest, easiest way to get nice lighting will be to use an IBL with a nice exterior HDRI.
