If the paper is one flat plane, I would use a MIA_Material_X and some Translucency.

If the paper is a “thick” surface like a very skinny cube, I would look into Sub Surface Scattering.

Ok, nice. Thanks a lot!
I tried it wit the MIA_Material_X and it worked,
Now i have the problem, that i have no shadows from the woodstick between.
do i get shadows with Sub Surface Scattering?

… behind the Paper i have a pointlight.

Now i have tryed out, and played around with GI, FG and Caustics.
But with the mia_x it didnt worked, so i just take a phong with 1% transp.
In the Picture, the one dark paper door is with mia_x but there is no light come througuh.

Anyway, my problem now is this glowing edges, how can i manage it?
edit: i use directional light now.

If you’re having troubles getting the light to show up, you can always just duplicate it and have a separate light that is unlinked from the paper to do the trick. Check out the light linker.
