Light Scattering in UE4


I need help in building realistic light scattering in my scene. I have sun light in my scene and some indoor lights.
I want results like in this image… Look how beautifully the light bounces up from the ground from the sunlight and the light scattering from the wall light stripes.

I tried to use the emissive colour option in the material option but it didn’t work at all. It is just creating a light around the object, but it is not illuminating anything…

Please help me to achieve proper results for both of these light effects:

  1. Surface light bounce and scattering
  2. Light scattering from an object and illuminating other objects in range.
