libpng error in new beta?

has anyone seen this lately in the console window on Win7 when saving a render as a PNG in 2.53?
libpng error: Image Height or Width is zero in IHDR

saves the PNG just fine, just wondering if this is caused because it was a .blend saved from 2.49 that i opened and rendered.
