Hi there,
I’m a recent buyer of Messiah studio,
and I would like to ask some advice to the more expert ones out there.
I was an Animation:Master user, you can see a short of mine at http://amfilms.hash.com/search/entry.php?entry=1083
but I was feeling for something more robust for my work pipeline, but didn’t want to spend thousands of $ for software.
At the end I bought Silo as a modeler, and Messiah to do the rest.
Now my problem is the learning time Messiah will take me, how could I learn as fast as possible to rig a creature and start animating, not being books or recent videos out there to buy!
The documentation PMG provides, on its own isn’t enough for me!
I started a project in Messiah where all I had to do was an architectural walkthrough, but I had issues in scaling the objects in the setup window and then when I moved in the animation or render window, for some strange reason the scale would turn back to default in setup mode, while in render or animation stay as assigned!
Another advise I’d like to ask you guys is what could I use to texture my creatures, is messiah enough to project maps previously done in Photoshop, or do I need something else?
Sorry if these questions seem stupid but I feel like a stranger in a new country!!!
Rago.
