Lazy Drag?

#1

Hi all. First let me introduce myself. Name is Charlie. Animator in Pittsburgh, PA. Glad to be a part of this community! Now on to my question.

In layout, and in modeler, is there any way to use a “lazy mouse” type function to drag a selection in smaller increments? If I want to make a finite move, sometimes I find an object jumping a larger increment than I want when I’m moving it. Thanks in advance!!

Just decrease the grid size, in layout use “[” key for decreasing and “]” for increasing. In modeler simple zoom in and keep an eye on the greed size (left bottom corner).
… and welcome aboard .

thanks a lot! The layout grid size thing really helps! I’m pretty much self-taught in LW so I missed a lot of the fundamentals. Thats why I am in the process of watching every Proton Video Tut right now!
