Something feels a bit odd about the ear on the first image. It’s hard to put the finger on exactly what it is. Maybe it’s a bit too large and seen too much from the side.

The second image is great! :slight_smile:

I particularly like the expression and the translucency of the ears. Good rendering of glass too.

Hello Khasis,
I like the color shifts in the second image as well as the depiction of translucency. For the first image the background needs a balance of more or less detailing. I am saying that because where the foreground object meets the background the detail should start receding. It shows as the door having more detail then the wall that is closely next to him which is a little bit off a perspectives perception. The anatomy of the character on the second is well managed although the first is quite unfinished in the grasp of understanding. The ridges on his forehead from his eyebrow being raised and questioning something since I sense that as his emotion in the picture is a bit off. I would suggest looking at reference or looking through a computer camera if you have which would be the quickest and to look at the direction of the ridges as the eyebrow is raised. I think the ear is a little bit out of proportion I think what may have confused you was the ridges on the forehead. I would suggest as well to draw a shaped head that is in the head level position already established and then transferring the details of the better ear on the character already in the picture. Oh and a second note his tie is not rested on the character it starts to get a different angle one-fourth of the way down. Those are my only suggestions besides that interesting concepts and depictions.
