Keying Grainy Fooatge

#1

Hi All, I am keying a HD footage and I am using Keylight plugin. The Keylight plugin works fine so far. I have very clean alpha as well. But, the problem is when I render out the footage as quick time/animation on the edges and hair you see noisy-grainy boiling parts. Overall, it seems like the footage is grainy. Well, actually the master tape with green screen which comes from the customer is grainy! Is there any way to solve this issue? Any quick tutorial would be very helpful…

Thank you very much

Effects --> Noise and Grain --> Remove Grain

plus possibly: RevisionFX DE:Noise, Magic Bullet Frames

Thanks for the help Mylenium, but still the same problem. I have tried Remove Grain and also I have the RevisionFX plugins. And, my final render still looks the same. I believe, I have to send back the tape to client for recapturing in proper way.

Thanks again

But then are you sure it’s actually “grain”, not block artifacts? That would be a whole different bag. If it’s true noise, a simple 3x3 median blur would sufficiently eliminate it. Can yu post a still for inspection?
