keyframe from animation to dynamic with Bullet

Hi all,

wondering if it’s possible to have an object that has bullet dynamics and be able to keyframe the object up to a certain point then have bullet dynamics.
Take over from a certain point?

kinda like, I key an object from fr1 to fr20, then from fr21 go into a full dynamics.

I’ve tried the kinematic mode in bullet, but it seems to behave oddly after you’ve set one key.

Know its been a while, but yes you can. You need to key from kinematic to dynamic, and key the Translate/Rotate node, not the Shape node. Its kinda hoaky just like old Maya dynamics but it does work…just kinda convoluted.
