#1

Hey everyone. I’m happy to present my newly updated lighting and look development showreel featuring both feature film and commercial VFX work created over the last couple years for Framestore, MPC, and The Mill. More of my past work can be viewed on my vimeo page. Comments and critiques are always welcome, and I hope you enjoy!

Lovely work,
I used the Neymar commercial for a reference on a work that I have.
Can you say more about the development process to reach some incredible work like that?
Amazing scenes very impressive.

Thanks for the kind words Ronaldo. The Nike spot used a pretty typical workflow - the stadium that it was shot in was completely replaced by a fully CG one for both creative reasons and for the fact that it was simply easier to do a fully CG replacement than to track and comp a crowd in. The stadium, mirrors, and other bits were rendered in Mental Ray, and some grass extensions were rendered with Arnold. The crowds were simmed and rendered in Massive, but we also used a custom Massive exporter to bring them in to Maya to render their reflections in the mirrors. I have to give credit to comp for really making it come alive though. Not only did they help craft the atmosphere of it, but there are a lot of additions such as plate crowds mixed in with our renders and other live action and stock elements. I’m glad you liked it.

Amazing reel, but I’m sure you didn’t need me to say that. This is what dreamers aspire to be. Inspirational
