Just quick little issue

Just wondering when if when it comes to max 2009 to mudbox sculpting, I have seen that you need to map the UVs out in Max first (so whats the best way to do this like specific positions or anything for the UVs) and then how do you get the UVs into mudbox and it registers them as UVs for model.

Also I did some sculpting without doing the UVs in max so should I just do it again or is there a away for it to recognise uvs, such as I export the level zero of model and uv unwrap it then bring the uvs seperately or will I need to bring how model back in and start again?
